Interactive Risk Assessment Workshop: A Hands-on Approach to Product Safety Using ISO 12100 and Calculation Tools
Part 1 of this interactive session will provide a comprehensive overview on assessing potential risks associated with a specific product throughout its lifecycle, from development to disposal. We will actively engage in identifying and analyzing potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and uncertainties that could impact the safety of the product, the user, and the environment. This hands-on experience will utilize ISO 12100 as a guide, providing a practical approach to risk assessment.
Part 2 deepens the understanding of the elements of Risk (Severity, Frequency, Probability, Avoidance, and Likelihood) in conducting a proper product safety risk assessment. This part will be highly interactive, as attendees will be guided in identifying and prioritizing potential safety risks using a live risk assessment demonstration and a calculation spreadsheet. This session aims to equip participants with the ability to implement appropriate mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This engaging session is designed to provide a real-world experience of risk assessment, making the learning process more dynamic and effective.
