Workshop 5

  • Conformity Construction Review Basics

Construction evaluations are commonly conducted either as part of a standalone early engagement such as a Preliminary Investigation, or as the first step of a new product compliance investigation (prior to testing). For this hands-on workshop we will be considering various elements of a construction review:  isolation diagrams (means of protection), creepage and clearances, critical components, IFU/labeling, insulation systems, ratings, polymerics, wiring, etc…  This workshop will be helpful for those interested in general electrical safety (regardless of standard).

Network and engage with other participants at your table (hands-on activities with samples).

    Workshop Presenter: Daniel F. Ruth
    Workshop Facilitator: James G. Stoia
